This weeks challenge on I heart Faces is “Enjoying Life”. It’s been a while since I have participated in a challenge, so I went out with my daughter this evening, and this is what she wanted to do to show herself enjoying life. I just LOVE the expression on her face! She does have a gusto for life and I hope she never loses it!
This is our pet cat, Kitty. She is a very friendly cat and loves legs! I took this image with natural light and edited it with a painterly affect. I am posting this as a contest image for i heart faces | www.iheartfaces.com| , an on-line community for photographers. Please enjoy!
I love this image I captured of my children in the fall colors. Fall is my favorite time of year, and it is very fleeting down here in Texas, so I make a big deal about getting portraits every year. I love the quiet feeling of this image. I hope my children will look back at these images and be reminded of the joy they had growing up together. I am sure they will have stories of “crazy” mom who had to have so many images. I hope they will be glad they have them to pass down and share with their children one day.
I was so happy that this weeks challenge for I heart faces was back to school. I did this photo session with my daughter last week, and we had so much fun doing it. She really got into the styling with me, which made this session so much more memorable. I hope to do more sessions like this with her!
My little cutie, hammin’ it up for the camera!
This weeks challenge on the i heart faces blog was “a slice of life”. Thomas the train is a lot of my son’s life. He was so happy to play with the toy trains they had at A Day Out With Thomas, where Thomas came to town. I love how involved he is in the train set here, even though there were so many other kids crowding around the train table. He is normally a shy boy, and would have nothing to do with being around that many kids.
This is a revisit to one of my favorite images of my daughter. It was taken with a lensbaby. I thought I would enter this image in the I Heart Faces challenge this week. Enjoy!
This is an image of my daughter in the red dress my mother made her out of fabric that I was going to make myself a shirt from about 11 years ago and never got to. I think it looks much better on her anyway. This is another image from the session I did yesterday and think it fits perfectly in with this weeks I Hear Faces challenge.
I love this image of her because it shows off her beauty so elegantly.
