My daughter had her dance recital tonight, or as she likes to call it, her Big Performance. I took a few pictures during rehearsal this morning, so I could enjoy the show. She and her class mates, did a wonderful job. Most of all, she had so much fun! I hope that she continues to dance, because she does a wonderful job!
Today we stopped by our local Lowe’s to get our FREE sapling trees for Arbor day! We ended up with five somehow. We bought four clay pots and took them home and painted them with acrylic paints. The kids really enjoyed that part! Then, after the paint had dried (and it wasn’t soooo hot out), we potted our trees in our decorative pots. We had a lot of fun, and I hope we can keep our trees alive! We’re suppose to plant them in the ground a year from now. So, someone remind me to plant them next Arbor Day? Thanks!

I hope you enjoy this slide show I put together of my daughter’s five year portraits. She turned five a few months ago, and to me, five is a huge milestone that needs to be celebrated! We celebrated by doing many different outfits that characterized who she is right now in her life.
